Business Development Executive – CAD/FEA/CFD Software


Esgee Technologies Inc. develops software for multiphysics modeling and simulation of plasma, fluid-flow, electro-magnetic, particle, and chemical process systems used in a variety of industry segments. Our products target applications in semiconductor manufacturing, electrical devices such as circuit breakers and switchgears, lighting and display, automotive, solar cell, and flat panel manufacturing. We work closely with our customer base worldwide to help them design novel equipment, devices, and processes by resolving complex multiphysics problems using our tools.

In order to effectively handle all inquiries and grow the client base with regards to software sales, the company is interested in hiring a Business Development Executive (BDE). This is an entry/mid-level sales position with excellent growth opportunities. Sales of engineering consultancy services are also allowed and will be commissioned appropriately. The territory spans multiple regions and industries.

To be successful, the business development executive must have a proven track record of sales of one or more of the following: CAD, CFD, FEA, process simulation software, engineering services, instrumentation, control systems & data analytics products for semiconductor manufacturers, oil & gas, chemical, consumer products, and/or pharmaceutical products.

The BDE will be ably supported by a team of senior technical consultants and a marketing team. Resources for market research, account research, contact discovery, email marketing, webinars, trade shows, etc., will be provided. The technical team members are also able to travel for customer presentations and project discussions. We additionally support free sample projects and trials to help accelerate sales.
The successful candidate will receive a competitive base salary (based on experience), commission, and bonus plan.

Scope of Position
The immediate duty of this individual is:
• Expand our user base across key regions: US/Canada/Europe/Asia
• Generate sales of engineering services and pursue opportunities for customized software development projects

Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, sciences, or engineering
• This position typically requires 3+ years of inside sales or field sales and account management experience
• Experience with sales of process simulation or with CFD/CAE tools is a big plus

Our offices are based out of Austin, Texas. Remote work is possible for this position. 20-40% travel may be required.
